Grilled Avocado Citrus Salad

How beautiful is this salad? This is a copycat recipe from Convivo, in Santa Barbara. It can be made into a full meal by topping with grilled chicken.

Ingredients
-greens mix, including at least one bitter variety (radicchio, frisée, red and green leaf lettuce, arugula, litte gem, and endive are all great)
-citrus (orange, blood orange, grapefruit)
-strawberries
-radish
-pomegranate, watermelon optional
-mint or basil
-ripe avocado
-sesame seeds optional

For the Dressing:
-1/3 cup olive oil
-hefty splash of apple cider vinegar (or lemon, if you don't like acv)
-tablespoon or two of honey
-salt to taste

Recipe
-grill the avocado on both sides in a cast iron skillet or on the actual grill
-combine all salad ingredients and top with grilled avo
-dress sparingly- the dressing is very tart. The salad doesn't need much!

This salad can be tweaked pretty easily- use whatever greens, citrus, and fruit you have in your fridge. Don't skip the grilled avocado and citrus, though.
